The Parents

Pepper & Grok - the parents of this litter.

Pepper and Grok are the parents of this litter. Grok brings the size and guardian instinct of a full Pyrenees. Pepper brings Australian shepherd attentiveness and a friendly household temperament. Both tried to chase the chickens and lambs as puppies and both trained out of it easily. We have visitors and small kids in and out of the house regularly — both dogs are consistently gentle with all of them. You're welcome to meet them before you reserve.

Pepper

~70 lbs

½ Great Pyrenees, ½ Australian shepherd

Pepper is half Great Pyrenees and half Australian shepherd, about 70 lbs. We don't have registry papers on her dam, so we tell you what she actually does: she's friendly with our kids and the small kids who visit, follows guests around without barking, and has been a steady mother to this litter — checked on her puppies every couple of hours the first two weeks.

  • Friendly with strangers
  • Quiet around the house
  • Smart, picks up routines fast
  • Stays close without being clingy

Grok

  • Alert outside
  • Loyal to the family
  • Doesn't spook easily

On the farm

Pepper — Mother

70 lbs, friendly, attentive mother

Pepper has been steady with the puppies — checking on them every couple hours the first two weeks, nursing well, staying close. She's friendly with strangers, follows the kids around the property, and picks up household routines fast.

Her photos aren't studio shots. They're what nursing and raising 10 puppies actually looks like.

Parent Care & Litter Health

Practical care, steady observation, and real farm routine.

Our parent dogs live active farm lives and are fed a quality dog food along with farm-raised lamb as part of their regular diet. We keep their care practical, consistent, and focused on good condition, steady temperament, and real-life farm routine.

Pepper's litter arrived the evening of April 18, 2026, beginning around 7:30 PM: 10 puppies, all being watched closely and checked daily. Every litter is different, and we do not make health or temperament guarantees, but we believe strong parent care, daily observation, and a steady farm environment matter.

Grok — Father

100% Great Pyrenees

Grok is a full Great Pyrenees, around 110 lbs. He walks the fence line after dark and ignores people he doesn't know. Indoors he's mellow, sprawled out wherever the kids are.

He tried to chase the chickens as a puppy. Took minimal training to stop. He's lived alongside the free-range flock and our lambs ever since with no issues — that trainability is part of why we picked him.

The pairing

What we can tell you.

Grok brings Great Pyrenees size and guardian instincts. Pepper brings a friendly household temperament and Australian shepherd attentiveness. We describe what we see and do not guarantee adult size, coat, or exact temperament.

From Grok: size, weather tolerance, and the calm guardian instinct Pyrenees are bred for. He patrols the property without being told and ignores people he doesn't know. Indoors he's soft with the kids.

From Pepper: attentiveness and household friendliness. She picks up routines fast and stays close to the family. She's half Pyrenees, half Australian shepherd. We don't have papers on her dam, so we describe her by what we see.

Together: a substantial farm dog with enough Australian shepherd influence to stay connected to the family. The puppies are showing a really promising mix of steadiness, curiosity, and people-focus already. Best fit for acreage, hobby farms, rural homes, or active families with a real yard.

Every puppy is an individual. We can speak to what we've seen in the parents and how the litter is being raised. We can't guarantee adult size, coat, or exact temperament.
